Zenvara Energy operates this website and the storefront, account and service-provider features on it. We are based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Zenvara Energy.

- Accounts — when you create a storefront account, we collect your name, email address and password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, never as readable text.
- Orders and installation — when you order, we collect your name, contact details, the installation or delivery address, the products you ordered and the installer assigned to the work.
- Service-provider applications — when you apply to join our installer or delivery network, we collect your business name, ABN, business address, contact details, licence details, insurance certificates and any documents you upload.
- After-sales and returns — when you request a return or upload supporting evidence, we collect the details and documents you provide.
- Payment — card and bank details are entered on our payment provider's own secure page. We receive the outcome of the payment and a reference, not your full card number.
- Technical records — our web server records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested path and time, for security and fault diagnosis.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and provide the products, installation and support you ask for.
- To create and protect your account, and to keep you signed in.
- To price and take payment for an order, to arrange delivery and installation, and to assign the installer who does the work.
- To assess service-provider applications and manage the installer network.
- To handle returns, warranties and after-sales requests.
- To keep our systems secure, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
- To meet our accounting, tax and legal record-keeping obligations.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed to run the service, or where the law requires it:
- Our payment provider, which processes card payments on its own page.
- Our email providers, which deliver order, account and enquiry messages.
- The installer or delivery partner assigned to your order, who needs your name, contact details and address to perform the work.
- Our hosting provider, which runs this website and the backend that stores your data.
- Professional advisers, regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally required or permitted to disclose it.
Where your information is held
This website and its backend run on hosting in Sydney, Australia. Some of the providers listed above may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and payment records are kept for the period required by Australian tax and accounting rules, and for as long as is needed to honour warranties. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only while they are useful for responding and for our own records, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

We use cookies and browser storage only to make the site work. We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies on this site today:

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit with HTTPS, and passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Access to customer and order information is limited to the staff and partners who need it to do their work.
Children
This site and our services are intended for adults arranging energy infrastructure for a home, business or organisation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Access, correction and complaints
